Flight from LGW – BDA
I’m back in Bermuda and it’s beginning to feel like my second home. Good flight and what appear to be a decent crew. I’m convinced Fiona C (my purser) is in fact Emma Thompson, she looks and sounds exactly like her. It’s uncanny.
A bunch of us walked into town and as usual, the weather was perfect and everything smelled so fragrant. During dinner, I sat with Graeme, who’d been working in First class, so this was the first I’d had a chance to talk to him.
After dinner, a few of us took a tour onboard the Cunard docked in port. I thought fondly of Travis and how much fun I had on that particular Bermuda trip. It feels like much longer than six weeks ago but I guess that’s because so much has happened since.
On the ship, we were introduced to the Captain, who was very gracious (and very posh) and he invited us to enjoy him for cocktails. Surrounding us in the private lounge were a bunch of elderly ladies, all dressed to the hilt, playing bridge.
Finished off our lovely evening at a room party in Fiona’s (Emma Thompson’s) room. Perhaps she’s doing research for an upcoming role? Graeme was quite full on and I’ll be honest and say I didn’t shy away from his attention.
He walked me back to my room and I think I remember how this works! I did, however, refuse his offer of a nightcap but did give him a quick peck on the cheek. We arranged to meet for breakfast, in four hours!
And I have to say, he’s a bit of a hunk and I do believe I’m single!
